| Half couplings are chamfered on one end with the other end square. | ||
| Manufactured in accordance with ASTM specification A865. Merchant couplings in NPS 1/8 through 2 are normally supplied straight tapped. NPS 2 1/2 and larger are taper tapped. Taper tapped standard merchant couplings in NPS 1/8 through 2 are available upon request. API line pipe couplings are used in all sizes over NPS 6. Couplings from NPS 1/8 through 2 are dipped in rust preventative. Couplings NPS 2 1/2 and larger are phosphated. Galvanized full couplings are also available. All dimensions are in inches. |
